Can I use BotMock for free?

Yes, we offer a free plan that allows you to use BotMock for free. It has some restrictions see pricing page for details.

Can I use BotMock to deploy my chatbot?

We are strictly a design tool to build prototypes that you can use as spec documents. We are not a chatbot development platform.

Can you develop my chatbot for me?

Sure! Send us an email at support@botmock.com and we will get in touch with you.

Do all of my team members need to have a subscription?

Nope. Only the account owner needs to have a paid subscription. Everyone else on that team have access to all the features available under the plan.

Does my subscription automatically renew if I upgrade my account?

Yes, we automatically adjust your subscription when you switch to paid account.

Do you accept paypal?

Not right now but it's something we may add in the future. You can view the payment methods we accept here. We accept Visa, MasterCard, and American Express. Payments are made securely via Stripe, which meets or exceeds industry standards in security.

Do you offer yearly plans?

Yes, we do offer yearly plans. You can save by switching to yearly billing.

What is the difference between mock and flow?

Think of flow as a map of all possible conversation paths. A mock is a visual representation of a single path. Each mock can have multiple boards and each board can represent a single path. So you can have a complex flow with many different paths that the user can take and you can create a mock from it by creating different boards within a mock.

How can I export my flow?

Flow diagrams can be exported into PNG files by clicking the "Export" button in the bottom navigation bar. Once clicked, you will get an option to queue the export request and our minions will work in the background to export your flow diagram and send you an email when it's ready to download.

How can I export my mock?

Mocks are exported to gif & video (mp4). You can export a particular board within your mock by clicking the "Export" button in the right toolbar. Once clicked, you will get an option to queue the export request and our minions will work in the background to export your mock and send you an email when it's ready to download.

How do I create a flow?

You can create a flow project by clicking on "Create New Project" button on the dashboard. Select "flow" on the popup dialog and give it a nice name (may we suggest: beep boop) and click "Create". You will be taken to our flow editor where you can add messages to the canvas and connect them via connectors.

You can create a mock project by clicking on "Create New Project" button on the dashboard. Select "mock" on the popup dialog and give it a nice name (may we suggest: marshmellow) and click "Create". You will be taken to our mock editor where you can add messages to the canvas. Each mock can have multiple boards. Think of board as a single set of messages that map a single user story.

How do I invite a team member?

In your flow or mock editor, you will find a button labelled: "Invite" at the bottom toolbar. Simply click on it, enter their email and we will send them an invite.

How do I switch plans?

Once logged in you will see a menu option at the top right corner of the page. Click on your team name, and select "Subscription" option from the dropdown. This page will contain information regarding your current subscription status for this team.

How many projects can I create?

Depending on your price plan you can create as many pages as that plan allows. If you are on a free acount the limit is 1.

I want to upgrade but my payment is being declined - why?

Sometimes your bank might be sending us wrong signals. Other times, you might have entered incorrect information or the card might be expired.

How do I delete my account?

You can cancel your paid subscription at anytime. Once you do that we will switch you over to free account. If you still wish to remove your account completely from our system, please send us an email at support@botmock.com
